The unexpected holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including free extra story content for Shadows players.

According to the official release, "An unusual encounter draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where whispers of banned rituals and terrifying changes echo through the obscurity." The plot introduces a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a clandestine sect.

The questline concentrates on "bizarre trials and a terrifying foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Changes

The preview showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, presumably the captive, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the quest will acquire an unique katana alongside multiple objects concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
