Chiefs State They Are Aware of Domestic Violence Claims Involving Player the Athlete

The Kansas City Chiefs released a comment on Wednesday evening stating they have knowledge of claims of abuse circulated in online accounts by a ex-partner of wide receiver the athlete and were in communication with the NFL.

The organization omitted the name of the player by name in their announcement and said they would have “nothing more to add at this time”.

Claims Shared on Social Media

The woman, who also did not mention the athlete by name, posted a series of photos on social media that appeared to show signs of physical abuse. Jones stated the person involved was the father of her children, and reports indicate she has two children with the football player, whom the team selected in the 2023 draft.
