Disturbing Footage Captures Instant Police Suffer Blade Attacks in Unexpected Assault
A police sergeant that leaped to the aid of a colleague who was ambushed by a blade-wielder received the Royal Recognition for Bravery.
Sergeant Tim Ansell grappled with 27-year-old Jacob Brown after he placed a knife to the neck of his fellow officer Sergeant Marc Foster.
Brown launched his attack as the policemen and their third officer, Police Constable Marcus Wolstencroft, were conversing to a motorist following a road collision in the area in mid-2023.
Brown stabbed and slashed the two Sgt Ansell and Sergeant Foster prior to Police Constable Wolstencroft stopped him with a electric weapon.
