England Team Selection Announced: Jude and Phil Omitted, Saka Returns
The England manager has opted to stick with the same England squad that secured victory against their previous opponents and delivered an impressive performance in Belgrade last month, leaving no room for the Real Madrid star and Phil Foden in his selection for the upcoming exhibition match against the Welsh side and the qualifying match in the Baltic nation.
Although Phil Foden making a strong case for a return to the squad after regaining his top condition at his club, and Jude Bellingham having made a comeback for Real Madrid following a surgical procedure, the head coach has opted not to including two of the country's most prominent offensive stars. The young midfielder has been in the starting lineup just a single time for his team since his comeback.
Tuchel has found space for the Arsenal winger, who is fully recovered and has been restored in place of his unavailable Arsenal teammate the sidelined player. The experienced attacker has not received a return to the squad.

The national team coach expressed his admiration for the vibrancy in last month's squad and appears determined to maintaining the vibe. Tino Livramento, who featured at the defensive flank in the 5-0 win in Belgrade, has dropped out due to a knee injury. Tuchel has opted against selecting a direct replacement for the Magpies star but has included the Manchester City defender, who had to pull out last month. He has spoken about the Manchester City defender's importance for the national team and has suggested using him in midfield.
No spot has been found for the midfielder, who was selected in the previous squad but withdrew due to injury and was substituted by the Milan player.
Tuchel said: “A mere three weeks after the last camp and the last win, the last performance, so the consideration was why not select the same group in because they established a benchmark. Now it is about creating habits out of it. We have unfortunately two injuries at the moment with Livramento and Noni and we bring of course Bukayo Saka in to take the place of Madueke. Jarell Quansah was a last-minute addition last time; he will stay in camp.”
