The rising star maintains impressive social media presence
The young golfer can count on numerous prominent cheerleaders when she starts her professional golf debut this Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who happens to be the granddaughter of a former US president, obtained a tournament invitation to play at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, an avid golfer, possesses multiple courses worldwide and regularly matches against his granddaughter.
"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we play some close matches," she revealed.
The golfer shared that Trump, who cannot attend, advised her: "Simply don't get nervous."
"My grandpa basically advised me to go out there and have fun," she added.
"From my perspective, he's simply an ordinary family member. He won't be there for the tournament. He's occupied with running the country, making him somewhat preoccupied."
While still amateur, the golfer has played in only three events in 2024 and maintains position 461 in AJGA rankings.
But she can receive tips from golf legend, who is dating Vanessa.
"He stands as the greatest golfer in the world," Kai stated.
"Furthermore, he's an even better individual. He suggested me to play, enjoy myself, adapting to whatever happens."
She'll challenge several most prominent players in women's golf at the competition, featuring world number two the champion, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.
Tournament organizers stated that Kai's presence exposes golf to different demographics, specifically reaching the next generation.
The social media influencer boasts millions of followers and has started a personal clothing and lifestyle brand.
The competition starts at 5:30 PM GMT.
